Sweet and Spicy Wings

chicken wings, separated at joints and wing tips removed

(12 to 16 ounce) bottle Louisiana-style hot sauce

cup

unsalted butter - (2 sticks), melted

(8 ounce) jar honey

dash

garlic salt to taste

dash

ground black pepper to taste

cayenne pepper to taste (depends on how spicy you want the chicken)

Combine the hot sauce, butter, honey, garlic salt, ground black pepper and cayenne pepper. Pour the sauce mixture into a medium size skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.

Grill the chicken (you can deep fry or bake the chicken instead if you want to, but it is best when grilled).

When wings are almost done, start basting with sauce, turning the wings and basting both sides a couple times

When wings are done and ready to serve, pour the remaining sauce into a bowl for dipping.
