Fried Taters
 
 
6   med size baking potatoes - cooked and cooled.  
1   small sweet onion  
3 to 4   Tbls bacon grease  
  Salt and pepper or steak seasoning.  
 
1 Potatoes -- bake or boil with skin on, cool over night in frig
2 slice them to about 1/8 in thick slices ( 1/4 to 1/2 if making home fries )
3 Slice onion very thin ( use as much as you like )
4 Heat bacon grease in cast iron pan over med heat
5 add potatoes and onion to hot grease and sprinkle with seasoning.
6 cook til light brown then turn and finish cooking til golden brown.
7 Put them in a bowl and serve.
 
 Cooking Tips
Sometimes I add a little more seasoning just before taking out of pan
