Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tenders

Chicken tenders ( about 16 )

Bacon - Thin sliced

Salt & pepper - favorite seasoning - favorite BBQ rub

Trim tenders of excess fat and leaders,wash, and pat dry

Lay tenders on a cookie sheet and season lightly with your favorite seasoning. Season all sides

Wrap tender with bacon strips ( usually takes 2 per tender ), wrap diagonally starting at one end.

When all the tenders are wrapped, sprinkle some more of your favorite seasoning on the wrapped tenders.

place on rack in smoker at 225* until almost done ( around 1 1/2 hours )

Remove from smoker and place on a hot grill and roll them around for a minute or two to crisp up the bacon

Remove from the grill and serve.

Servings: 16

Tips

You can serve them whole, cut in half, or cut into bite-size pieces. These are great for a dinner, snack, or as an appetizer.

You could also do these in the oven or on the grill cooking indirect.

Serve with your favorite dipping sauces.
